The film "Killian and the Comeback Kids" is the story of a ragtag folk-rock band who get a chance to play a music festival, and it has been compared to "Once" and called "An Oscar contender" by Variety. The film opens in LA theaters on September 17, and two days later the lead actors and musicians Taylor A. Purdee, Liam Higgins, and Carly Jordan will be at COLLAGE in San Pedro for a live show. After a cut from the film is shown, the group, also known as The Cumberland Kids, will play music from the film and more, and be available afterward for a Q&A.
