Songwriters' Gathering with Les Moir and Jonathan Ogden

Description

Let's gather all the songwriters in the area to meet with God in worship and hear thoughts from one of the most significant figures behind the scenes of Christian music; Les Moir.

Les has played a significant role in the international contemporary worship music community. He has a particular heart for connecting songwriters from different cultures.

As an author, mentor, A&R manager, record producer and bass player on many albums, he has aimed to encourage and help develop many worship leaders, musicians and songwriters, including Matt Redman, Martin Smith, Tim Hughes, Sinach, Graham Kendrick & Noel Robinson.

Les is married to Judith and is based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK. They have a son and daughter, James and Isabel.

From delicate acoustic songs to jazz and hip-hop infused pop, Jonathan crafts musical soundscapes that invite the listener on a journey.

With a background in graphic design, he is passionate about exploring the intersection of visual art and music to form a complete experience.

Describing his songs as ‘prayers set to music’ he expresses his faith through psalm-like lyrics and sweeping, melodic instrumentation.

Following the release of his beat tape, Twenty Four, and an acoustic EP, Songs From Home, Jonathan is now releasing singles and working towards his first full-length album, Future Forever.
