We are excited to welcome you back to our place of worship here at Union Bethel AME Church and look forward to seeing you at 10:00 A.M.

**At this time, we have decided to "Return to In-Person Worship" our Sunday Worship service. All other services will remain virtual. **VACCINATIONS, Masks and Registration are Required.

If you are not vaccinated, you will need to continue to worship with us virtually.

Registration is Required due to Limited Capacity! DOORS WILL OPEN AT 9:15AM for CHECK-IN.

As mandated by the Center for Disease Control, the state of Maryland, and the African Methodist Episcopal Church we will open with a limited capacity using social distancing. Therefore,

As we continue to navigate through these times, and with our return to in-person worship we want to assure you that we are continuing to take every precaution to maintain a most safe environment in which to worship

**All worship service attendees will be required to adhere to the use of masks, complete COVID-19 questionnaire, and risk of assumption before entering the church facilities.

** Union Bethel AME Church COVID-19 In-Person Safety Guidelines will be enforced.

Individuals failing to follow guidelines will not be able to attend services. These requirements are being implemented to ensure we follow regulations for facility capacity and social distancing as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and the State of Maryland.

COVID-19 SCREENING FORM & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By completing this registration, you are acknowledging that you or anyone you have been in contact with have not experienced any of the outlined symptoms in the last 10-12 days.

Signs or symptoms of COVID-19

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough·
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing·
  • Fatigue·
  • Muscle or body aches·
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK.

By completing this registration, you are acknowledging you understand the assumption of risk associated with attending and participating in services at Union Bethel A.M.E. Church.

While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist.

You release, indemnify and hold harmless the Church, its Pastors, Officers, Staff, Members, Volunteers and representatives from any claims, demands, actions and costs for any loss, injury, damage or expense whatsoever that might arise out of attending and participating in services at Union A.M.E. Church

**Vaccinations are required!!**

Please Be PREPARED to display your proof of vaccination and identification.

What to Expect:

  • ALL Members will have to enter the Front entrance of the church.
  • ALL members must wear a well fitted face mask over their nose and mouth in the building. N95 and KN95 masks are recommended. If not available, use double masks.
  • EVERYONE must have their vaccination card on their person for verification and inspection at any time.

Upon Entering the Building:

  • Names will be checked for registration and proof of vaccination.
  • Members will be scanned for temperature upon entering the building. If a temperature is 99.9 F or greater, members will not be permitted.
  • Members will use hand sanitizer.
  • Members will follow the directional signs upon entering the building.

During Service:

  • Members will be seated by Ushers every other pew; Physical (Social)Distancing will be followed (family members will be seated together).
  • Please maintain at least 6 feet away from people who do not live in your household.
  • Avoid physical contact when greeting others (for example, handshakes, hugs).
  • Offering will continue to be collected electronically and as announced.
  • No eating or drinking in the sanctuary or in meeting places.

After Service:

  • Ushers will direct all Members out of the Sanctuary and Church.
