About Our Speaker:
Yossi Shain is a Knesset member from the Yisrael Beytenu Party and professor of Political Science.
He is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and chairs the Knesset Delegation for Relations with the European Parliament.
Prior to being elected to the Knesset, he was Chair of Tel Aviv University’s School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs and Founding Director of the Center for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University.
He is one of the worlds's foremost scholars in the field of Diaspora Studies and International Relations and is the author of The Israeli Century: How the Zionist Revolution Changed History and Reinvented Judaism.
