Description

The theme for July's SYCCIN will be community engagement with audiences, exploring topics such as:

  • What opportunities are there for audience engagement?
  • How does it help creative practice?
  • What do creative practitioners need to do to engage audiences in the community?
  • What examples of innovation are there?
  • What new ways are audiences being engaged?
  • What do local audiences need from cultural experiences in the region?

The session will include a keynote speaker slot as well as a panel discussion. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Oliver Mantell, Director of Evidence & Insight at The Audience Agency.
  • Anthony Baker, CEO at The Civic, Barnsley.
  • Host: Pamela Johnson, independent arts consultant & fundraiser with an extensive background in audience engagement.

Please note that doors will open at 5.30pm for networking, with the session getting underway at 6pm.
