In this workshop facilitated by Codman Square NDC, we’ll reflect on our concerns as a community, discuss the importance of local city & state politics, learn more about the officials who govern our area, and ultimately craft a speech demanding action. Together, we will be encouraged to actively email, call, and meet up with legislators to support causes that inspire.

This is an orientation to local politics affecting communities of Southern Dorchester, a neighborhood in Boston, MA.

As always, in support of all those who enter our space, our workshops are pro-Black, pro-Woman, pro-Queer, pro-Body, pro-Migrant, and pro-Poor--and focus on developing the civic literacy skills and imagination necessary for system transformation.
