Creating layers of plaster, pigments, silver leaf, gold leaf and inks on a large panel canvas is a process of meditation for local artist and gallery owner, Susan Eddings Perez. Yet, waiting for the ‘paint to dry’ is not in Susan’s vocabulary as she has painted over 40 paintings this year alone.

With an affinity for artistry in everything, Perez has collaborated with notable Executive Chef Pablo Peñalosa of Bishops Lodge and curator Bobby Beals, to create an unparalleled culinary art experience to inspire the senses.

Combining trade secrets and a refined craft, the two artists have created a multi-course meal magnifying flavor through layering. Each course will be inspired by Perez’s paintings and paired with wine by Bishops Lodge’s Sommelier.

There will be an element of surprise and surely a display of art!
