There's nothing any better than a warm apple pie on a cold day! Join us for a fun evening of learning how to make your own apple pie filling while meeting old friends and making new ones! Everyone is welcome! Its free, although donations are welcome, and all ingredients and equipment will be supplied plus you'll have enough to take home! The Teaching Kitchen will be held at the Veterans Centre at 4955 Main Street in Dorchester and taught by Community Food Mentor, Charleen Broad, who has a long history in the community food sector. Charleen is the founder and manager of The Garden of Salem, a 27,000 sq ft community garden in Hillsborough and teaches a wide variety of food-related workshops.
