ABOUT THE DUST OFF WORKSHOP:

Are your bits starting to get dusty? Want to create new content, but feeling rusty? Do you smell musty? Then take a shower stinky, but after that sign up for this workshop!

With a focus on fun, each participant will leave the workshop with at least 15 new pieces, new ways to attack idea generation, and will finish with a solo performance! We will work with wigs, props, lighting, movement, music, character, storytelling, and more!

Find new ways to get inspired to create content that is uniquely you. We will explore all of your biggest, funnest, and dumbest ideas until the cows come home (which is in 2 weeks when the class ends.)

DAYS 1 + 2 (10/10 + 10/12): THE DUST AND DUMP

We will spend time shaking off any doubt, dust, and sludge that has been weighing you down after the last 2.5 wild years. Getting physical, putting wigs on, dancing around, and speed creating. Everyone will work to create at least 10 new pieces.

DAY 3 (10/17): TURDS TO GOLD

We will work on polishing pieces that you have created in and out of class. Refining ideas until they are no longer turds, but shiny gold comedy coins.

DAY 4 (10/19): SOLO DOLO

By Day 4 everyone will have enough content to do a 10-15 minutes showcase! We will work on shaping our material. Taking random bits and weaving them together into a cohesive piece.

CLASS SHOWCASE (11/3): SHOW IT OFF GWORLS

Everyone will get to perform their solo show in a showcase for their friends, fam, and fans. This will be a black tie affair. :)
