The Great Storm Talk

Description

On September 8th, 1900 Galveston experienced what is now known to be the worst natural disaster to ever hit the United States. Come learn about the people that endured the storm, the survivors and those that perished. This informative talk will occur at 2 pm on Thursdays, and 8 am on Fridays, followed by a walk through of the Galveston County Museum exhibit on the 1900 Storm and as an add on option there is also a walking tour of the city's Historic District available where you will see the buildings that survived and hear the stories of the Great Storm.
