Description

Asian American Town is teaming up with Melissa Yi, an experienced pop-up market event planner, producer, and manager to bring you The Marketplace, centering Asian American makers and creators. It will be located at the Aloha Food Carts on September 24th from 12 PM - 4 PM.

Pop-up events like this allow us to imagine what permanent shared spaces might look and feel like. Places where casual interactions can happen that do not require affiliation to a particular organization or culture. Where Asian Americans can come together to celebrate who we are now as a broader community.

We have some amazing vendors signed up so far and below are a few of them:

  • BBTEA JARS (link)
  • Dream World (link)
  • Ooh What's This! (link)
  • Art by Jenn (link)
  • Queenz Asian Cuisine (link)
  • Wednesday Paper Co. (link)
  • Mama Yi's Kimchee

Early bird applications for vendors are still open until September 6th please follow the link here.

If you are interested in supporting this event in other ways please send an email to asianamericantown@gmail.com. We are still open to media and entertainment partners.

Our hosts for this event, Aloha Food Carts (link) have been incredibly generous so far and have several other options when it comes to food.
