The Portrait Popup is a project designed by portrait photographer, Julian Myles, to provide artists in the DTLA area with quality head shots and portrait photography for their portfolios. Working as an arts administrator and manager far too often do I come across many artists who do not have quality head shots - The Portrait Popup was created to combat just that.

The Portrait Pop-Up will take place on ‪Wednesday, August 10 at private DTLA Photography Studio from 10:00a - 3:00p - scheduled every 20 minutes. ‬Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled slot.

Your 2 proofs will be sent to you digitally within 2 weeks of your session. Any additional photos or edits can be accommodated for an additional fee.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where is the venue?

You will receive final details on destination by Monday,August 8. Location will be located in Downtown Los Angeles.

When will you receive your images?

Within in 24-48 hours you will receive an online gallery to view and select images.

How will you choose which images will get edited?

Please use your email to create a favorites list and select only 2 images of your choice. If you choose more than 2, I will pick my favorite 2 out of the favorites you selected.

How long will it take to receive edited photos?

Within 14 business days, you will receive your final retouched images. You will be able to view and download them from the same link you viewed the originals.

How long will I have to shoot?

You will have a total of 15-20 minutes to shoot.

What color background options do will I have?

You will have the following options for background color: white, black, tan or red

Refunds?

You will receive a full refund if you email the host of this event at least 72 hours before the event. If you do not email before 72 hours, it will only be a 50% refund.
