Composer/Performer/ Music Director/Drummer/Pianist/Bassist And Music In More Ways Than One. Ruckus was born on March 5, 1992, in Miami, Florida and has been playing drums since he was two years old. He was homeschooled his whole life with the exception of 8th, 10th and 11th grade where he attended public schools. Now, after being raised and living in Miami for 13 years his mother (Marie Dominique Edouazin) realize that Sarasota, FL. was the best place for him and his musical gifts. He has always been interested in music and his heart desires were to become a great musician and a healer through music and education. In the 8th grade Rodney started a group called the Jazz Juvenocrazy. He played with this group for four years and it has become well known in Sarasota, Florida over the years. This group raised over $30,000/year to go on tour and play at some of the best venues and major music festivals all over America and Europe. Ruckus is also a pianist and bassist and he can play and teach all the instruments such as brass and woodwind instruments including the upright bass by too. During his time at Booker High School, his school jazz ensemble got an opportunity to attend the Berklee College of Music High School Festival in Boston and Ruckus was awarded Judges Choice Award for Superior Jazz Drums and Vibraphone Solo on January 31, 2009. Eventually he was also invited to attend the Berklee Five Week Performance Program in the summer and there he was awarded the Full Ride Scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music as a full time student. After college Ruckus moved to Minneapolis, MN to work and be mentored by Prince (Roger Nelson) while also leading the music scene and living there for two years before he faced losing his mother ten days after He turned 24 years old to Breast and Lung Cancer.
