Worldwide, more than a million people die in traffic-related crashes each year. Half of those deaths are pedestrians and cyclists. THE STREET PROJECT is an inspiring story about a massive movement across the US and around the world to reclaim our largest public spaces, our streets.

As part of the larger Hope Street Temporary Trail, the Providence Streets Coalition and 3M are bringing this new documentary film by Jennifer Boyd to Providence!

Join us outdoors at Festival Ballet for an evening of community and mobility. There will be opening remarks by Mayor Jorge O. Elorza, and a Q&A with Jennifer after the film. Film run time is 52 minutes.

Festival Ballet will provide up to 100 chairs. If we go over ticket sales, please bring your own lawn chair! Rain date will be Friday, October 7th.
