To End a Plague: Book Launch and Health GAP Fundraiser

Description

Join us for a book launch, author conversation, and fundraiser.

To End A Plague: America's Fight to Defeat AIDS in Africa author Emily Bass (and special guests!) will share perspectives from twenty years of politics and power at the front lines of the global AIDS pandemic.

This fundraiser will benefit the activist work of Health GAP. Tickets are donation-based and start at $25 but all donations are welcome! If you're not able to make it, you can support our work at healthgap.org/give!

Merchandise will also be on sale, and a limited number of books will be available.

-----

WILL MASKS BE REQUIRED? This event will be held on an outdoor patio, in the backyard of The Springs. Masks will not be required but folks are asked to have one on hand just in case.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?: Yes! The Springs has kindly decided to allow children until 8pm. Children must stay with their guardian(s) at all times! (They've had issues in the past with children running behind the bars, digging in the plants, and playing in the fountain).

WHAT IF I CANNOT JOIN IN PERSON? We totally understand. You can still show your support for us by donating at healthgap.org/give

WHAT IF IT’S SUPPOSED TO RAIN? There are umbrellas on the patio in case of light rain. In case of heavy rain, we’ll stage our event inside the lounge.
