Tour-a-palooza: Saturday, July 16 - APS Museum

Description

Becoming Weatherwise: A History of Climate Science in America, an APS Museum exhibition, is open! The American Philosophical Society is delighted to have visitors back in the historic Philosophical Hall to explore the exhibition.

Tour-a-palooza!

Between Thursday, July 14 and Sunday, July 17, we will be offering small, guided tours of the exhibition. Only 15 visitors will be allowed in each tour slot. Tours will be approximately 45 minutes long and led by a member of the Education Programs staff.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of your Tour Time (as noted on your ticket). For example, if you book a "Tour Time: 10am - 11am" ticket, please arrive between 9:45am and 9:50am.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PROCEDURES

At present, we require all visitors and staff to wear appropriate face coverings.

We will be maintaining updated cleaning procedures and will provide hand sanitizer upon entry to the building.

When you enter the building, there will be a brief but mandatory bag check.

If you are unable to be vaccinated or have children under the age of 5 and would still like to visit in a safe environment, email us. We will work with you to find an appropriate visiting time.
