Two State Coyote Calling Challenge

Registration in person is $150

60% Payout/40% will go to Veterans Outdoors Foundation, entry money is non refundable

1st Place - 30%

2nd Place - 20%

3rd Place - 10%

Team with MOST dogs wins - If two or more teams tie with amount of dogs then all team dogs will be weighed to determine winner for total weight.

If you are doing early bird registration only ONE ticket is needed to be bought PER team!

Teams must be 2-4 people

RULES:

  • No hunting dogs
  • Team Captains must record tagging process with cell phones
  • Teams MUST stick together while hunting, no splitting up to make different stands
  • No traps, No snares
  • If there is any indication that a killed coyote was in a food trap, live trap or snare, the team will be disqualified
  • No running dogs or pushing dogs with ATV/UTV/etc
  • We will provide a demo video of the tagging process no later than the 27th of Jan.
  • Thermals/Night vision is ALLOWED
  • Any hunter under the age of 18 must have a parent signed release and must be hunting with someone over the age of 18
  • If you are not present during placing, you will forfeit earnings and it will be given to the next place team
  • All participants must possess a current state of Kansas or Missouri hunting license
  • Calling, stalking and baiting are all acceptable methods
  • High Fence Ranches, game preserves, hunt club or other cages/high fenced hunting is not allowed
  • All hunting must be conducted under fair chase
  • All dogs must be brought to final check in

Tagging of Coyotes

  • Each team will have a specific card color and suit - Team is responsible for getting that card on their own
  • A video of coyote(s) must be sent into Veterans Outdoors Foundation - a link will be provided with the color and suit of card no later than the 27th of Jan.
  • Teams that register in person will receive their card color and suit then
  • The video MUST include: ALL team members, designated card, eye shine test, rigamortis shake test and left ear removal

  • Biggest Dog - in the event of a tie, dog with longest tail wins
  • Ugliest Dog
  • Littlest Dog
  • Bobcat
  • Black Dog
  • Youngest Hunter
  • Most Creative Team Name

You MUST be present Sunday for the results/awards

Safety Briefing/National Anthem Opening - 7PM

Please attend if you are able to, if not it will be available on facebook live in the Veterans Outdoors Foundation group

Sunday, Jan 30st - Awards/Closing Ceremony - 10am

ALL teams and team members must be present - no exceptions

All dogs must be brought in, in case of a tie and verification to videos

15 min grace period with phone call prior to 10am that must be approved by Veterans Outdoors Foundation

Auction to follow weigh ins but before awards

IMPORTANT: If you will not be attending check ins, Kansas or Missouri hunting license must be sent to marketing@veteransoutdoorsfoundation.org PRIOR to January 27th otherwise you will be disqualified.
