TX Level 3 - Security Commission Training Course (Killeen, TX)

Please Read This Important Message!

The Texas Level III – Commissioned Security Officer Training Course is a Texas Department of Public Safety - Private Security Program required course in order to apply for a Texas Security License. This 47 Hour Course meets all training requirements needed for licensure.

Monday to Friday 8:00 am (08:00) to 6:00 pm (18:00) and costs $225.00.

Students are not permitted to bring loaded firearms into the training room. Lockers are available for safe storage during the day. (We do not recommend keeping firearms in your vehicle) You must bring your own lock to secure the locker.

 

The price includes:

- Classroom Fee

- Range Fee

- Everything you need to know to complete the licensing requirements set forth by the Texas Department of Public Safety - Private Security Program to get licensed as a Commissioned Security Officer - Certificate of Completion for Pepper Spray

- Certificate of Completion for Level III Training

Please bring to class:

- Your state I.D. or Driver’s License,

- Pen

- Note Pad or Paper for notetaking

 

Additional items needed for Day 5 (Friday):

- Bring your UNLOADED handgun and UNLOADED magazine in a bag or case on the required day the instructor instructs you to bring the handgun to the shooting range.

- Only standard handgun calibers can be shot on the range. 

- Bring 50 pistol rounds for the qualification exercise. 

- Bring 8 rounds of 00 Buck and 1 round of Slug 

- Bring extra ammo for practice.

- Safety Glasses

- Baseball cap

Qualification with a Shotgun is included and recommended but is not required.

If you are paying in cash for the course, payment must be recieved by 5:00 pm the friday before.

Refunds: Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 days before the initial registered course start date. Within 30 days prior to class you may reschedule for a maximum of 2 times.
