It’s 1982, and the indomitable Stella welcomes the community into her social club as the world around them is turned upside down. Set against the backdrop of the Falkland’s War and the closure of the dockyard, UNDERTOW:1982 is an uplifting and moving tribute to a hugely important year in the region’s history.

The show tours to 20 community venues across the region this Autumn, and includes music from the period, performed by thrilling live band The Spoils.

UNDERTOW:1982 is a professional theatre production presented by People and Stories, in collaboration with the Royal Naval Association, City of Sanctuary, Portsmouth Repair Café, and Arts Council England.
