Venetian Canal Paddle Tour - Sunday Funday

Description

These blissful, Venetian-like canals are lined and canopied with lush, tropical flora and fauna. Gliding atop clear water you’ll spot turtles, fish, anhinga and cormorants. The gorgeous lakes boast beautiful estates (some owned by celebrities) and historic homes and bridges. Once we launch you’ll feel instantly transported to another place in another time!

We'll meet at Dinky Dock Park, a gorgeous, oak filled park with a white sandy beach. Your instructor will assign you to quality and fitted stand up paddleboard gear and give a 10 min safety and paddling technique briefing on land. Then we'll launch and begin leisurely exploring the chain of lakes - covering 3 lakes and 2 canals. We'll take breaks along the way, to lay back and look at the sky, soak our feet, or take a refreshing swim. We'll also stop at Kraft Azalea Gardens to stretch or use the restroom before heading back. This paddle is all about taking in the beautiful sites, being in the moment, and absorbing the therapeutic benefits of being on the water. Once we return, you're conveniently located 2 minutes from Park Ave, with a variety of boutique restaurants and shops for brunch or lunch.
