The reason we are putting together this event is to raise money for the Remembering Heroes Foundation and they partner with Artificial Grass Masters to install artificial grass in a veteran's yard. Every running/walking participant will have the opportunity to nominate a veteran that may need a new yard. We will review the nominations and their story, and announce the winners after the run. In addition, we are looking to have a fun raffle throughout the event with any businesses that would like to donate prizes. We are expecting to have 100+ people attending the event.
