Virtual Pilates Mat

Description

Pilates Mat is based on the Classical Method with some variation in each class and designed to balance and strengthen all muscle groups while using the breath and challenging the core with each movement. It is a challenging yet safe workout. Modifications are given for beginners or anyone that has an injury. This class is good for athletes and weightlifters; it has wide ranging benefits for everyone including improvement of posture and relief of many back problems, as well as gaining strength and flexibility.

All you need is a yoga mat; weights and a yoga block are optional.

This class will be taught via Zoom. You will need the Zoom desktop or mobile app to access the class. The Zoom meeting room information will be emailed to you 60 minutes before the class starts or right away if booked within 60 minutes.
