VIRTUAL "Bird of the Month": 12-Month Series
Series: Fourth Saturday of each month*
Time: All workshops run from 10am-1pm
Description: Learn to needle felt (or sharpen your skills) while creating a flock of woolen feathered friends. This 12-month offering highlights some of Pennsylvania's beloved birds. Choose your favorite or sign up for all 12!
Fiber artist and backyard bird enthusiast Erin Carlson will guide you through the needle felting process as you look closely to observe the shape and markings of each species while an Audubon Society educator provides additional facts and information .A perfect blending of art and science!
How it Works: Contemporary Craft is thrilled to be partnering with Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania to present this virtual needle felted "Bird of the Month" series over Zoom.
Each workshop begins with instruction on needle felting your bird. Once you are underway with your project, an educator from Audubon Society will share wonderful insights about the bird you are making. Then we will rejoin our instructor, Erin, who will help you finish your bird.
Choose a 3-Bird or 6-Bird package and pick whichever birds you want to make! You can also register for just 1 bird by clicking on the dates below.
