About Bareways

Bareways (www.bareways.com) develops data solutions to make rural mobility safer, more reliable, and fun. The data enables highly customized routing and navigation based on road surfaces, quality, local weather and environment, vehicle capabilities and driver preferences – all in real time and on a global scale. First customers are two leading German automotive OEMs and an aerospace company. The company was founded in 2019 by Moritz v. Grotthuss and Sascha Klement, two serial entrepreneurs in automotive, in Lübeck/Germany. About Rydesafely

Rydesafely has  raised their pre-seed funding from the prestigious Entrepreneur First (www.joinef.com) to tackle the hardest barrier to autonomy. This is the technical problem of validating when an assisted or autonomous driving system can safely be deployed in an Operational Design Domain (ODD) – or more specifically – scale to other ODDs with minimal efforts. This is a challenge that no player – not Waymo, nor Tesla nor the traditional automotive players – has solved for. It requires a tricky combination of unique technical IP, state of the art research methods, domain expertise and engineering best practice.

About INN>CHRG

INN>CHRG was founded on a vision of creating a more sustainable electrical vehicle charging infrastructure by incentivizing the opportunity of becoming a charging provider. At INN>CHRG we believe that anyone, any location, and any private property can become a charging location for the EV driver.

Our mission is to eliminate wasteful time spent driving to a charging station, waiting for a unit to be free, and the time spent charging in an inconvenient location. We accomplish this by providing a more distributed, convenient, and available charging network with a seamless app-based service that allows the customer to review listings, make reservations on the spot, plan and book days ahead. By 2025, there will be an estimated 23 million EV drivers in the US, and an average of 6.9 million new EV sales per year. Our marketplace is scalable and readily applicable in overseas markets where EV sales are forecasted to grow exponentially over the next decade.

The origins of the INN>CHRG model was catalyzed and developed in early 2019 by founder Angel Melchor. Later that year Angel pursued an MBA at the University of California Davis to gain the skills to build the founding of the company. In 2021, Angel founded INN>CHRG with co-founders Koral Buch ( PHEV Ph.D. student researcher at UC Davis), Meredith Roberts – (MBA Student at UC Davis), and Dr. Alessia Siclari (Ph.D., Civil and Environmental Engineering).
