VETMotorsports is seeking Volunteers familiar with our mission to help us gather veterans and veterans supporters across Central Ohio for a day of camaraderie, fellowship, and fun to renew our bonds, learn about others in our community, and provide support to one another.

We need volunteers for the following days. Our objectives are to spread the word about our 'Helmet Therapy' programs. Your volunteer times are up to you, but we ask you to staff the VETMotorsports area for a few hours... and you can attend multiple days if you choose.

• Friday, August 5: 4-8 p.m.
• Saturday, August 6: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Sunday, August 7: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Once registered, we'll contact you about your volunteer times.

We'll be in attendance with other nonprofits sharing their missions, too!

About Hero Hut:

The Hero Hut is a covered rest area which offers complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and veteran resource information.

Hero Hut, presented by Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Services, is open to active and retired military members, veterans of all military branches, first responders and up to 3 accompanying family members. This area will honor Heroes of all ethnic backgrounds, not just the Irish.

Hero Hut is a 501c3 nonprofit that began at the Milwaukee Irish Fest in 2018. It is now a nationwide non-profit!

The Hero Hut Mission: All too often Veterans and First Responders encounter life without the resources and community they so desperately need and deserve! In an effort to change that, Hero Hut was born with a vision to empower Veterans to discover a civilian life defined by service and surrounded by community. Through our presence at local and national events we seek to create a welcoming place for Veterans to relax, build friendships, forge a connection to their community, and learn about services and opportunities available to them. Ranging from Veteran Affairs, to education, to job placement, to mental health, and more. But Hero Hut is not just a place for Veterans - we take pride in building community and serving Military Service members, First Responders, their families, and loved ones.
