Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS NY) is a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization. If you enjoy spending time with both people and pets, we offer wonderful opportunities for our volunteers (18 years old+) to provide direct services to our clients, mainly through our Housecall Program. Volunteers help walk dogs, clean the litter box, transport to the vet, and other daily tasks our clients are struggling to do on their own. Volunteers are asked to make the following minimum commitment: at least one visit per week for at least 6 months. *Please note that volunteers will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to participate in the Housecall program.
