Watercolour Course 1

Description

Hello and thanks for taking a look at my watercolour course suitable for beginners comprising of 5 x one hour live, in-person, online tutorials per week. Class sizes are limited to 6 people to give you a more personal experience offering you the opportunity to paint alongside me and ask questions. These are fun, relaxed sessions designed to give you the confidence and key skills you will need to produce watercolour paintings. Each session will give you enough material for you to practice with after the session has finished. During the class, the emphasis will be on play and experimentation rather than producing a finished painting. Sessions are also recorded so that you can play them back any time you wish for 6 months after the course has completed and you will receive some accompanying notes to aid you after the class has finished.

Lesson 1 - Intoduction to Watercolour - a run down of the most essential materials and some basic exercises to begin with watercolour

Lesson 2 - Painting Fruit - painting simple subjects so that you can work on your watercolour techniques

Lesson 3 - Creating texture - using salt, clingfilm and other media to create additional textures

Lesson 4 - Painting people - how to depict people for a landscape or cityscape
