Wild Mothers Live

Description

Wild Mothers - the Show

A roar, a poem, a dance into the power of the wild mother, taking full responsibility for her body and her baby. This is the story of a soul that chose to serve the call of reprogramming the knowing of the sacred practices of birthing and mothering. Carmen her name, was born into a family burdened by blame and shame, until she came out stronger than ever, feeling the pulse of new life in her womb. Boom, the world is on hold, as she downloads the codes of the wild mothers, that walked before her and birthed their babies outside the cities, barefoot on the earth. Healing the trauma of those mothers who gave away their power, and reclaiming the mantra that is ours: Birth is our initiation, the ultimate key of creation.

„How can humanity survive socialized birth?“ famous obstetrician Michel Odent asks in his latest talks, and Carmen goes further, she wants to know how we can move from surviving to thriving, starting with the first transition of spirit incarnating into a human being. She is in service to solve the mystery and tell the stories of mothers who birthed consciously, be it in the hospital, at home, or in the sea.

Context: After experiencing a conscious conception, pregnancy and birth as well as interviewing twenty-two mothers on their journey, I have felt beyond inspired to share the essence of the wisdom and knowledge that I have captured along the way.

The embodied ritual performance has the intention to bring freedom into the field of birth and mothering. Too much pressure, fear and guilt have been ruling the collective unconscious, creating a glass ceiling over us. May this performance help us remember who we are and trust our intuition before anything else.
