Yemen is facing the largest humanitarian crisis of the last 100 years. As we enter the holy month of Ramadan, the need for humanitarian assistance becomes more urgent than ever before. To raise awareness of this humanitarian crisis, and more importantly, to assist the families that have been affected by it all, the Yemeni Student Association has made preparations to host a fundraising dinner. This fundraising dinner will be the first collaboration between the Yemeni Student Association of Wayne State University, University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, and the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

The hope of the YSA is to engage the Yemeni-American community members and other concerned citizens on the toll the war has taken on innocent and defenseless citizens. We have partnered up with the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation in order to distribute food packages. YRRF is a non-profit that aims to assist Yemeni families who have been impacted by this inhumane humanitarian crisis . We would like to show our support to YRRF and hope you can join us.
