Description

Yin Yoga is a floor based yoga practice, slow, yet challenging, and relaxing. Based on the lunar and feminine Yin energy, it works to gently open and balance your meridian system. Each posture in Yin is slow and held for 2-7 minutes to allow the connective tissues, ligaments, tendons, and joints to slowly adjust, providing physical health and balance to many of the Yang practices we serve in our daily lives (lots of movement, busyness and stress). Breathwork and sound healing is incorporated into each class to aid your relaxation and nourishment. No experience is necessary for this class.
